Description

These field trips are part of the essential coursework for students of Irish Cultural Heritage. Students should only register for field trips that are linked with their relevant module. Most of the trips are outdoors so students are reminded to bring raingear, appropriate footwear and a packed lunch. There is a cost of €15 for most trips which is non-refundable. 

1. Newgrange & Knowth 9 October – for ID003 students
2. Tara & Kells 16 October – for ID005 and ID013 students
3. Glendalough 23 October – for ID001 students
4. RIA and National Museum 6 November – for ID004 and ID014 students
5. Glendalough 13 November – for ID001 students

Please ensure early booking to guarantee a place. Note that you do not need to attend both Glendalough trips, two options are available due to limited space. Pick the date that suits you best. 

Transport is arranged for all trips, except for RIA and National Museum trip. Students are required to arrange their own transportation to Dublin for that trip.
